This past weekend, The Nook and Kranny Squad got the chance to go to Eat Drink SF – San Francisco’s premier annual food, wine, and spirits festival that celebrates the Bay Area’s world-class chefs and restaurants. We attended Friday’s Grand Tasting event and we had a blast!

We arrived to Friday’s event not really sure what to expect. We had open minds, empty stomachs, and were ready to eat. They transformed the Festival Pavilion into a top notch culinary extravaganza. We were greeted at the door with a smile and a glass for wine, and you know what that meant – WINE TASTING. We were able to try beverages from more than 70 beer, wine, and sprits makers + enjoy dishes from over 35 restaurants. On top of all of this, there were amazing chef presentations and classes going on throughout the event.

But once we started, we couldn’t stop. From sea food to American, and soup to burgers, there was something for everyone. The food was in perfect bite size serving portions, making it easy to walk, talk, and eat all at the same time.

There were games to play, conversations to be had, and activities to be completed. The energy was amazing, and there was a non-stop feeling of community. It was also super cool to be able to see the chefs in their elements, putting together some of the best cuisine that I’ve had in a while. Eat Drink SF was an amazing event, and I cannot wait to attend next year!
