If you know me, then you know that I’m a picky eater. I know it’s an annoying trait, and I wish I wasn’t, but the fact remains that I don’t allow my pallet to step outside of the box. My number one go to meal is a burger. There is nothing like a juicy double cheeseburger , a side of fries and a milkshake. With that being said, I know a good burger when I taste one, and so you should definitely trust the following list of the best east bay burger places.
Sparky’s Giant Burger
4120 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619
Sparky’s is at the top of my list because I swear by their burgers. No seriously, I have yet to take someone to Sparky’s and have them leave disappointed. It is located in the Oakland hills, and offers both inside and outside dining options. Although their specialty is burgers, they also have varying food options and bomb milkshakes! Also, Sparky’s holds a special part in my heart. I tend to be very nostalgic, and this burger joint reminds me of the days at Skyline High School – so if you went to Skyline, you already know why this is number 1.
Flippers Gourmet Burgers
2062 Mountain Blvd, Oakland 94611
Flippers Burgers, located in the heart of Montclair, is one of Oakland, CA’s top burger restaurants. They have a great variety of items on their menu, so that every person can find something to love. And to top it all off, they are located in beautiful Montclair, CA, making it perfect for you to grab lunch and then take a walk around Montclair. Overall, Flippers Burgers is the perfect place for kids and adults of all ages.
146 Grand Ave, Oakland CA 94612
The thing that I love about TrueBurger – other then how amazing their burgers are – is the fact that everything on their menu is at a reasonable price. A lot of times, it is hard to find quality food for a reasonable price. The beef that they used is natural, and the milkshakes that they give us is super rich and delicious! They opened up in 2010, and business has been booming ever since.
2100 Franklin Street Suite 2190, Oakland CA 94612
If Umami Burger isn’t at the top of your go to Oakland burger list then I basically can’t trust you. I mean common, their burgers are infused with flavor, and their menu options are super unique – burgers include the sunny side up burger and the ahi tuna burger. Yes, a meal with a friend can get a little pricey, but to me it’s definitely worth it.
4218 Park Blvd, Oakland CA 94602
Last but certainly not least is Park Burger. It’s one of those cute joints you’d take your friends to to kick back and relax. The different burgers on the menu provide customers with a large array of ingredients, and you will leave this restaurant satisfied every time.
