Do my ladies run this motha fucka? HELL YEA! It’s time to show some love to some of the hottest female Djs that represent the Bay Area. First up, Ms.Nastia V.
DJ NASTIA V
You may know the name and face because of her amazing writing skills that currently bless the pages of the East Bay Express. Well, baby girl is also a bad ass Dj which totally makes sense considering her job as a music editor. Female representation in the music scene is super important to her and helps motivate her to keep slaying the 1’s and 2’s all over the Bay.
DJ WAVY BABY
Even though she currently lives in LA, Dj Wavy Baby makes sure to represent for the Bay everywhere she goes. The Nook and Kranny Squad are definitely fans of her steez and love that she is unapologetically hyphy everywhere she goes.
DJ FELA KUTCHII
She goes by Fela Kutchii guys, so if that didn’t already win you over, you’re weird and I don’t think we can be friends. Ok, I’m just kidding about the not being friends part but seriously, if you haven’t already done so make sure to check Fela out. This Oakland Dj is able to mix together a ton of different genres and has a little something for everyone.
DJ RED CORVETTE
Yes, we have already gassed up Red a few times on the site but come on, no Bay Area Dj list could be complete without mentioning this goddess. This bad babe is super humble, business savvy and knows how to keep the party lit.
DJ NAMASTE SHAWTY
I kid you not, Namaste Shawty is my bestfriend in my head lol. I love her spirituality, the way she moves with a purpose, and every time I’ve caught one of her sets, she definitely gives off a very confident and radiant energy

Co-founder and the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Mamou is a recent college graduate from the University of California, Riverside. Being raised in Oakland, and spending 4 years in Southern California, Mamou heard the constant negative views that people had on the Bay Area. She vowed to help change those views, and Nook and Kranny is her first step in doing so.
