GETTING AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND

This year has been a long one but through the ups and downs, you made it. You pushed past the limits, shut down the nay sayers, and kept it lit on all those energy vampires. It is time for a well deserved vacation. The problem is, finding the perfect spot to run off too. We’ve written something similar before and thought it would be appropriate to add some new in the cut spots for you to run off to for a weekend. Here are some local Bay Area spots, perfect for a getaway.

I was able to go here in August and was so shocked that I had never been here before. The cottages come equipped with a stove and a working oven so that you can cook. The rooms are super spacious and have their own private entrances, furnished patios, and a skylight. And to top it all off, it is right in the middle of mother nature giving you the opportunity to be one with the earth!

Pismo Beach is located in San Luis Obispo County and is a cute little beach town perfect for family and friends. The Squad was lucky enough to check the Seacrest Oceanfront Hotel last year and it was the perfect home away from home. It sits at the center of a beautiful town and offered us the beach as our backyard. Yes, you read correctly, the beach was literally a few steps away from our room.

The Claremont Club & Spa is located in the heart of Berkeley and combines comfort and pampering in a magical way. You can indulge in ancient acupuncture, facials and relaxing massages. The hotel, which used to be a romantic castle, is truly fit for a Queen and King – see what I did there? 🙂

You could also create a pamper at home vacation, but that is a self-care article for another day. What are your favorite places to go to relax?
