Because of the Bay’s unpredictable weather, my skin looks like a hot mess. One week of 70 degree + weather followed by a week of wind and rain has been doing your girl pretty  shady.

So, I’ve been madly searching the interweebs for a solution and finally found one via the urbanbushbabes website. Urbanbushbabes (UBB) is an online publication featuring  two best friends and passionistas creating the definitive source for natural hair, fashion, health, lifestyle, music and arts & culture while living in NYC.

Nikisha the co-founder of UBB, has a pretty dope selection of easy and affordable DIY beauty recipes and I found one for a natural mud mask. I found most of the stuff I needed for the mask in my kitchen and only spent 6 bucks at Farmer Joe’s for the bentonite clay. This mask most def brought my skin back to life and is now apart of my weekly skin routine. I hope it works for you like it did for me. Thank you Nikisha!
