Making sure that you take care of your mind, body, and soul is extremely important. It’s even more important when the seasons shift. There are a lot of changes going on, and it is important to check in and make sure that your emotional and mental health “one hunnid,” Birdman voice. When it comes to self-care, I usually check in with one of my favorite writers, Alex Elle. Her words serve as a guide for me, and she usually has some amazing tips on how to give yourself all the love and attention you need on her blog. Recently, she blogged a few tips on self-care as the seasons change and I wanted to share it with you all.

2. Make time for alone time

My favorite tip is to make time for alone time. This one is essential for me because I often forget how important it is to just be alone with my thoughts. When I was younger, and things weren’t going great, I had a habit of wanting to surround myself with as many people as I could to mask the pain and pretend like I was all good. WRONG. As Alex mentions on her blog, me-time is super helpful when you’re feeling drained and in need of recharging. Which tip is your favorite?
